OUR HISTORY

Latinoamericana de Comercio Textil SA de CV (LACOTEX) was established in 2006, after Bayer Corporation sold worldwide its production plants of spandex yarn in Germany and the United States of America..

The company was founded to continue the commercialization of these yarns in Mexico, Central America and the Andean region, representing the new owner.

In 2009, the company diversified the portfolio and started the commercialization of various dyes and auxiliaries for the dyeing of textiles to the present. In addition to the bare spandex yarn, our portfolio includes conventional covered and / or air covered yarns, composed of nylon or polyester and spandex.
